COVID-19 Response

The Waikerie Hotel Management & Staff takes great pride in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in response to COVID-19. We regularly consult with public health authorities either directly or through the Australian Hotel’s Association, an entity which we are members of and follow all COVID-19 Protocols accordingly and regularly review and renew our protocols according to current and valid regulations. Here are some ways are upholding and exceeding the recommended standards.

  • QR CODE & MANUAL CHECK-IN – since the COVID outbreak in 2020, we have worked closely with the AHA and SA Government/Health, to make sure our business abides by all regulations to help keep the community safe. One of the biggest ways of doing that is enforcing the COVID regulations within our VENUE such as making sure all individuals that enter the Venue use the fill-in contact tracing forms or check-in using the QR code. With dedicated COVID MARSHALLS on duty always – we take very special care and pride in helping keep our community safe by helping our customers maintain social distancing.
  • Frequent and additional training on hygiene and cleaning protocols always keeping a high standard within our venue to uphold the safety & health of our staff, customers and community.
  • Proper and frequent hand hygiene is practiced and required for all staff and highly recommended for our customers. When regulations permit, facemasks, and gloves are worn.
  • UPDATES: with the support of the AHASA, we can closely monitor any updates provided by the Public Health Authorities, ensuring that all our staff and well informed of the guidelines and are aware of any changes should situations change.

Your health and safety are always our top priority, and we will continue to do all we can to ensure your stay with us is a memorable, safe and healthy experience.

Thank you for your support,
