Message from the Manager
We are a large modern hotel with all the amenities required to be successful, with a large food and beverage operation an extensive bottle shop, a gaming area, a very good conference and function facilities and some of the best accommodation in the Riverland.
The hotel is a community-owned establishment and is here to support the whole of the Waikerie and surrounding district by returning the profits of the hotel through sponsorship to the art sport and literature bodies of the area, we believe strongly in supporting the local population and are also a major employer with very long-term employees. We take pride in being one of the best hotels in the Riverland and we focus on having a great quality of product with great customer service.

The Team
Peniana Rabuatoka is our assistant Manager and looks after our front of house departments as well as many other aspects of the hotel operation.
Peniana has many years’ experience within hospitality and specializes in customer service as well as coordinating all the conference and functions including weddings held at the hotel.
Peniana has a bubbly and vibrant personality and looks after all the requirements of our clientele.
Pasan Dias is our executive chef and has been with us for a decade now, He has transitioned our food operation to an extremely busy modern hotel style with many facets, Pasan oversees a large team of qualified professional people and manages the kitchen with a calm demeanour.
Pasan came to us from the vibrant food culture of Melbourne and has worked at the Crown as well as other Melbourne Restaurants. Pasan is at the head of a very successful food operation at the Waikerie Hotel.
The team at the Waikerie hotel motel is a large happy group with many of the staff being employed for over 7 years and many of these up to 25 years.
Gaming
With the Comfort of our Sports Bar comes the accessibility of our TAB, LOTTERIES/KENO & GAMING ROOM. Our TAB area offers easily accessible and comfortable facilities with screens airing Sky Racing and Odds, 2 TAB terminals, Lotteries & Keno facilities, and a spacious 40 Machine Gaming Room to really enjoy that Wine, Dine & Play feel our Venue has to offer.
